The "Road to Singapore" officially runs through the Tela Park Pickleball Center in Las Piñas this March 28 to 30. Organized by the Philippine Pickleball Federation (PPF) and co-presented by Skechers, the 1st Philippine Pickleball Amateur Nationals 2026 is not your typical neighborhood friendly. Following the recent success of the Cebu Pickle Fest, this tournament is the ultimate "filter" for the country's deepest talent pool, where winners in select divisions will earn the right to represent the Philippines at the EPIC World Amateur Championships in Singapore this May. With registration officially closed as of March 20, the focus has shifted from clicking "Join" to mastering the "Rally Scoring" format that will be used during the three-day elite competition.
The intensity of this event is amplified by its role in the new National Scouting Framework. PPF President Shery Anne Cu and the board are using this national championship to identify the "Best of the Best" across three age divisions: 19+, 35+, and 55+. Because every match result is now fed directly into the Philippine Pickleball Participant (PPP) Registry, a single win in Las Piñas could skyrocket a player’s national ranking, potentially catching the eye of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) scouts for future international deployments. Whether you’re a power hitter or a tactical "dink" specialist, the message for this week is clear: every point matters when a world championship ticket is on the line.
