The opening of the Team Reset facility in Filinvest, Alabang, marks a pivotal moment for the sport’s infrastructure in Southern Manila. Developed by a community of passionate "picklers" who wanted to move away from makeshift street setups, this facility is one of the few in the country designed from the ground up specifically for pickleball. Featuring professional-grade flooring, optimal lighting for night play, and a dedicated coaching wing, it serves as the primary training site for the "South Elite" squad. By 2026, this hub has become more than just a place to play; it is a center for "balance, connection, and joy," where athletes of all ages can access professional sports science and tactical workshops.
This new facility is a direct answer to the "Pickleball is Everywhere" movement, providing a controlled environment that mimics the conditions of international pro tours. As Alabang becomes a focal point for the Philippine Pickleball Participant (PPP) Registry events, the Team Reset hub is expected to host several sanctioned "Tier 3" tournaments throughout the 2026 season. The goal is to create a "vibrant hub" that caters to the high concentration of athletic talent in the Alabang-Cavite-Laguna corridor. With world-class courts now available in the South, the 2026 season is seeing a more balanced distribution of talent, as Southern players no longer need to brave the Manila traffic just to get a championship-level match.
