PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN – Team A Palawan solidified its leadership and sales structure through a contract signing for its unit managers and salespersons held on April 22, 2026, at the Filipinohomes Palawan Office. The 11:30 AM event formalized the team's affiliation with the network, granting its members access to Filipinohomes' national property database, developer partnerships, training resources, and administrative support systems.

The signing is the latest in a series of Filipinohomes activities in Palawan, following the Team LR Direct contract signing earlier on the same day at the same office. The back-to-back events underscore the network's aggressive push to strengthen its presence in the province, which has emerged as one of the country's most dynamic real estate and tourism hubs.

Why Palawan Is a 2026 Real Estate Hotspot

The contract signing comes as Palawan's property market gains unprecedented momentum, driven by major infrastructure projects and a surge in tourism. The province is a top tourist draw, with El Nido attracting 40,000 visitors and Coron welcoming 17,850 during the 2025 holiday season alone. The Department of Tourism has set a target of 6.7 million foreign visitors for 2026, and Palawan is expected to capture a significant share of that traffic.

Property giant Megaworld Corp. is ramping up its developments in Palawan, with a total project portfolio in the province valued at an estimated ₱3.5 billion for Santé Residences Palawan alone, plus significant investments in other residential and hospitality components. The company expects to generate around ₱6.5 billion in sales from Santé Residences. Megaworld is also constructing two hotels within Paragua Coastown—Savoy Hotel Palawan and Paragua Sands Hotel—which will add 548 rooms to boost local tourism capacity.

Infrastructure Upgrades Underway

Accessibility is improving across the province. The Department of Transportation is expediting the construction of a new, longer runway at Busuanga Airport in Coron, expected to be completed by December 2026. The upgraded runway will accommodate larger jet aircraft, reduce passenger fares, and expand terminal capacity from 200 to 1,000 passengers. Meanwhile, a Korean consortium has been awarded an $82.9‑million contract to design and build a world‑class international airport in Puerto Princesa, with the Kumho-GS joint venture set to begin the design component by the third quarter of 2026.
