BACOLOD CITY – Filipinohomes continued its April training rollout for new real estate agents on April 20, 2026, by conducting the FH Starter Kit session at the Leuterio Realty & Brokerage Main Office in Bacolod City.

The training, led by Andrea "Boss Sugar" Mesias Valdez, is a required step for new recruits seeking accreditation with the Filipinohomes network. The starter kit program equips participants with the fundamental tools, systems, and knowledge needed to launch a successful real estate career.

What the starter kit covers

The FH Starter Kit session focuses on practical, entry‑level skills that new agents can apply immediately. Topics include prospecting for potential buyers and renters, client relationship management, effective property presentation techniques, and navigating the legal and administrative requirements of real estate transactions.

Participants also learn how to access Filipinohomes' national property database, which lists thousands of residential and commercial properties from over 600 accredited developers nationwide. The training also covers the use of digital marketing tools and the network’s multi‑listing platform.

Part of a structured onboarding process

The starter kit is a key component of Filipinohomes’ standardized onboarding process, ensuring that all new agents — regardless of prior experience — meet the network’s professional standards. The session follows the new agents orientation held on April 18 at GT Hotel, which introduced participants to the fundamentals of real estate selling.

Together, these training events fulfill the April calendar previously mapped out by the Filipino Homes team in Bago City, which included a starter kit training scheduled for April 20.

Why Bacolod remains a priority

The training aligns with Bacolod’s growing status as a real estate hub in Western Visayas. The city’s economy grew by 4.9 percent, with a GDP of PHP146.09 billion. Major developers such as SMDC, Megaworld, and PHINMA Properties continue to expand their footprints in the city, driving demand for qualified real estate agents.

Looking ahead

Newly trained agents who complete the FH Starter Kit will receive their accreditation and be assigned to a team leader for ongoing mentorship. The Bacolod team is also preparing for the next scheduled activity: a Ferti Acres product knowledge session on April 22.
